How much does a print cost? +
Every price on the site includes free UK delivery, and the illustrated preview of your home is free however many styles you look at. The current price of each size is on its own product page.
What do I upload: and what comes back? +
Upload a clear daylight photo of the front of the home. You choose to keep it as a clean photographic print, or restyle it into one of eight illustration styles: fine line, soft watercolour, bold ink, blueprint, pen and wash, screen print, evening light or charcoal. We print whichever you choose across the product family.
Can I order on behalf of someone else as a surprise gift? +
Yes, all you need is a good photo of their home. The recipient doesn't need to be involved. A straight-on daytime shot of the front of the house works best.
What if I only have an older or slightly imperfect photo? +
Send what you have, most photos work. We review every order before printing and will email you if the photo really won't reproduce well, so you're never charged for an image we can't use.
Will the printed illustration look like the preview? +
Yes. We use the exact artwork you select, without the watermark. Your chosen product may crop the edges as shown in its preview; a digital download contains the complete artwork.
Is everything actually made in the UK? +
Yes. Production is via Gelato's UK partners for most products. AI-restyled artwork is generated digitally then printed at the UK partner. Shipped tracked from UK locations, with free UK delivery.
What do you do with my uploaded photos? +
Uploads are used only to produce your preview and your print. Unpurchased uploads are deleted automatically after 30 days. Watermarked previews are saved for 30 days. We never use your photos for anything else.
What if a gift arrives damaged? +
Email hello@ourhouseprint.com with a photo of the damage: we replace at our cost, no questions, for genuinely damaged items. Because each piece is made to order from your photo, change-of-mind returns aren't possible, but we'll always put right anything that arrives faulty.
